Rybarski’s Justification of the National State Concept

inicjal„>Ro­man Ry­bar­ski held a uni­que po­si­tion in a na­tio­nal mo­ve­ment. He ac­ted aga­inst de­stroy­ing li­be­ral and Chri­stian ba­sis of Eu­ro­pe­an ci­vi­li­za­tion as well as do­gma­tic in­ter­pre­ta­tion of na­tio­na­lism. He was in fa­vo­ur of its di­ver­si­ty. He op­po­sed the sta­te he­ge­mo­ny and di­sre­gard for le­gal norms. He died in Au­schwitz.

Stanisław Borzym (b. 1939) – professor, former Editor-In-Chief of the “Archives”, for many years fulfilling directorial duties in the Department of the Modern and Contemporary Philosophy at the Institute of Sociology and Philosophy PAN. Specialist in the field of Polish philosophy of the XIX and XX century (particularly in its connections with French and German thought) and history of the modern philosophy.
