The Development of Culture and the Emotions. Toward Leon Petrażycki’s Philosophy of Culture

inicjal„>This article provides an overview of connection between emotional live of human being and development of culture in works of Leon Petrażycki – Polish sociologist and philosopher. Statements of Petrażycki were reconstructed on base of his articles. In the first part of the article was shown basic conception of social and cultural development claims by Petrażycki. In the following parts is presented mechanism of culture and human being community development analized by Petrażycki. There are: first of all emotional selection which is ruling assimilation of cultural standards and the next one dissonance between intuitive and positive standards of culture.
