In spite of the fact that analytic philosophy was developed into opposition to speculative metaphysics, the analytical thinkers did not keep away from ontological reflection, which sometimes was as much speculative, as metaphysics (for instance G.E. Moore, B. Russell). The following article is an overview presentation of one of the most moderated and, at the same time, a lesser-known version of analytic ontology formulated by José Ferrater Mora (Bryn Mawr College, Pennsylvania).
