The problem of affectivity is pivotal for Michel Henry᾽s philosophy. Aim of the present paper is to specify this concept, both operative and fundamental in the context of material phenomenology, to investigate its origins and effects it produces in a more detailed manner, elucidating such crucial aspects as: body, affect and passion and subsequently taking up on the more global concept of „life”.
