We present a new Polish translation of the book Alpha Meizon (I) of Aristotle᾿s Metaphysics, which attempts to express, more accurately and, possibly, more faithfully, its conceptual content and argumentative sequence. We have translated it both on the basis of the new edition of this book and on the recent studies on Aristotle᾿s Metaphysics.
