In the article I present the semantic theory of cognition by Kazimierz Ajdukiewicz and its semiotic justification. However, this project has a specific drawback. It lacks indication on what basis and within which philosophy of language this semiotic justification is made. As it turns out, the sought-after philosophy of language on which Ajdukiewicz based his theory is presented by Husserl in the second volume of his Logical Research, which has been demonstrated and justified by Adam Olech.
