Ernst Cassirer

The concept of symbolic pregnancy is considered by many scholars to be the most important, root concept of Cassirer’s entire philosophy of symbolic forms. It consti­tutes the originality of his phenomenology in comparison with that of Husserl, Brentano, Scheler or Heidegger.

Historian of philosophy, theorist of knowledge and science, culture and mythical thought. Founder of the original theory of symbolic forms.
